Tissenbaum ’17, Named to Sports Business Journal New Voices Under 30

CHARLOTTE, NC – Harvard women’s hockey alumnae, Molly Tissenbaum ’17, has been named to the Sports Business Journal’s New Voices Under 30 Class of 2022, as announced by the publication this past Monday. Tissenbaum, a former Crimson goaltender, earned the honor for her work at the Sport Innovation Lab, where she works as a product director. The Sport Innovation lab is a global sports market research and advisory firm, that helps sports organizations understand who their fans are and how technology is changing their behavior.

The Sport Innovation Lab was founded by another former Harvard women’s hockey alumnae, Angela Ruggiero ’02-04, in 2017. Tissenbaum was one of Ruggiero’s first hires when she opened up the research lab in Boston.

Tissenbaum was a four-year member of The Landry Family Head Coach for Harvard Women’s Ice Hockey, Katey Stone‘s, Crimson. The Toronto, Ontario native played in several key games for Harvard in her senior season, including against Princeton (Nov. 11, 2016) where she made a career-high 50 saves in the crease. Tissenbaum also earned Academic an All-Ivy distinction in 2017 for her work on the ice and in the classroom.
