A COMMUNITY fund is available for charities, schools, event organizers or sports teams in the area as part of a good causes’ initiative.
The dedicated bi-annual fund was set up by the Salisbury Reds bus company to back local causes with free travel, funding and marketing help if using buses for events.
Applications open in October and those interested in applying should provide details about the cause, what support is needed, and the difference support might make to their organization.
General manager for Salisbury Reds Alex Chutter said: “At Salisbury Reds, we’re proud to play a role within the local community.
“As well as providing bus services across the area, we endeavor to support and raise awareness for those doing excellent work on behalf of those living here. ”
Everyone is able to apply and Salisbury Reds aim to help a wide variety of groups.
We encourage anyone who needs a helping hand, however big or small, to apply and our Community Fund offers a fair support process and allows us to build new relationships with worthy causes across the county,” added Mr Chutter.
St Michael’s Community Care and Bradbury House were previous beneficiaries.
More information can be found on the Salisbury Reds website for those interested in applying.
