Two women have made a lucky escape after being pulled from their vehicle in floodwaters on the Gold Coast overnight.
The pair are alleged to have driven into rising waters on the corner of Bonogin Road and Broadoak Court in Bonogin around 10.00pm.
Their vehicle became stuck, prompting a rescue operation from Queensland Fire and Emergency Service crews.

A QFES spokesperson told myGC crews were able to walk the women out with floatation devices.
They thankfully managed to escape without any injury.
It came as some parts of the coast received more than 100 millimeters of rain over the past 24 hours.
Clagiraba recorded more than 106mm from 9am yesterday to 6am this morning, while Mount Tamborine in the hinterland copped 100mm.
Currumbin recorded 72mm, while Pacific Pines further north received 52mm.
While most of the wet weather has now subsided, authorities are warning the dangers of floodwaters will remain.
“The rain may have stopped to a large extent, however, we still have floodwaters traveling down a number of our rivers,” QFES Coordinator James Haig told Nine.
Gold Coast beaches are expected to remain closed for another day as powerful and dangerous surf continues to batter the coastline.
