DEVILS THUMB DISTILLERY MIXING & MASTERCLASS EXPERIENCE Friday 12 August, 4pm – 6pm

This Gin Masterclasses will set you on your very own gin journey as you are guided by the Devils Thumb Distillery experts.

Participants are provided with the opportunity to craft your very own gin through an extensive blending class using a broad range of steam infused botanicals. And even better – you get to take a 200ML bottle of your very own creation home with you!

THE LONG BRUNCH – A TASTE OF SICILY WITH DOMINIQUE RIZZO Saturday 13 August, 10am – 12 noon

The heart of Taste Port Douglas once again comes to life when we celebrate Port Douglas’s rich culinary culture and lifestyle. Guests will enjoy a day of live cooking demonstrations from some of Australian’s most respected chefs and culinary presenters, food and wine stalls, masterclasses, junior foodies activities, industry talks, pop-up bars, live music and many more activities.

CAFÉ DEL MAR SUNSET SESSION BY TASTE PORT DOUGLAS Saturday 13 August, 6pm – 10pm

Cafe del Mar brings its iconic Ibiza sunset brand to Taste Port Douglas 2022 for a night of trademark house music under the stars with a world class performance by Café del Mar Sydney DJ Jusjoe as he delivers a night of house music sounds from deep to soulful, indie cool and nu-disco. Throw in fire twirling and LED shows by live performers making for one unforgettable experience from sunset, throughout the night. Guests will enjoy one welcome drink on arrival followed by an all-inclusive three-hour food package of roving snacks and delicious walk-up food stations. $ 120 per adult – 18+ event only. CATCHERS AND GROWERS: THE ULTIMATE SEAFOOD FEAST Sunday 14 August 2022, 12 noon – 2.30pm

Where: Feast Restaurant, Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort

Guests will enjoy a menu by esteemed seafood producers from Australia and New Zealand. Hosted by industry expert Umar Nguyen, guests will have front row seats to live food stations, while brand representatives shine a light on Australia’s seafood quality and diversity. Settle in with snacks and a drink on arrival, enjoy discussions from participating catchers and growers, and then roam the seafood marketplace while indulging in an unlimited feast accompanied by a 2.5-hour premium wine package. $ 199 per person – each ticket to this event includes free entry to the Sheraton Festival Village to enjoy the Fat Mango BBQ along with all other Festival Village activities

In a new event for the festival on day two the Sheraton Festival Village will see our Gourmet Lawn food stalls change identity as the team from Taste Port Douglas bring you FAT MANGO, a BBQ festival like no other where celebrity and live fire chefs bring their flame game to Tropical North Queensland.

On stage live bands and DJs create the ultimate soundtrack whilst on the ground celebrity chef Colin Fassnidge and legendary butcher Anthony Puharich from Victor Churchill stoke conversations with BBQ masters.

SHERATON FESTIVAL VILLAGE MASTERCLASS SERIES 13th & 14th August

Learn from industry experts in this two-day, hands-on series of informative and fun masterclasses, which cover everything from cocktail making to chardonnay, champagne to caviar, and even how to blend your own cocktails.
