The action RPG Neptunia: Sisters VS Sisters sees players explore a widespread world, using fast travel to arrive at locations before infiltrating dungeons to hack-and-slash through hordes of enemies. Before players can find out what is causing the mysterious phenomenon that threatens to destroy the world, they must first tackle individual areas set in the world known as Gamindustri. Every chapter in the game unlocks new regions of this world tied to a new main quest, as well as a plethora of optional side quests players may feel motivated to travel towards during their playthrough.
