Nanneella Estate Primary School has raised $ 1510 and 85 cents for Do It For Dolly in the school’s first big fundraiser.

This mammoth effort was achieved by the school, despite only having 13 students enrolled.

“We had a Mother’s Day stall the Friday before Mother’s Day and the funds we raised were transferred over to this fundraiser,” said Nanneella Estate Primary School’s Lesley Hanna.

“The Grade 6s – Ebony and Cooper – had an art exhibition, and the parents paid to get into the art exhibition and the funds also have gone to Dolly Day.”

With the support of Bridgestone, WB Hunter, Fire Pits R Us Kyabram, Cafe Rochester, and Nanneella General Store and Post Office, the school also held a raffle fundraiser with $ 2 tickets.

On Friday, students, staff and families played games, also had their hair sprayed, their nails and faces painted and dressed in blue to mark Dolly Day.

“The students have done the Do It For Dolly posters, and we’ve sent home packs with coloring in pages and word finds and activities for the kids,” Ms Hanna said.
