Los Angeles luxury real estate brokerage opens office in Dallas

A luxury residential real estate brokerage based in Los Angeles featured on several reality television shows has opened its second Texas office in Dallas.

The Agency has more than 70 offices worldwide, including one in Austin. The Dallas office is one of 26 the company has opened over the past year.

Damon and Megan Williamson, who were previously agents for Compass with the Damon Williamson Group, now lead the agency’s Dallas office at 8117 Preston Road as managing partners.

“The collaborative culture at The Agency is the ideal complement to our business,” Damon Williamson said in a statement. “We look forward to continuing to service buyers and sellers in the Dallas area while harnessing the unparalleled resources of The Agency’s global brand.”

“The Dallas market holds incredible synergy with The Agency’s boutique, global brand and we look forward to continuing to elevate our service offering in this next chapter,” Megan Williamson said.

The brokerage is one of several residential real estate brokerages from out of state that have tapped the North Texas market for expansion. Chicago-based @properties and Million Dollar Listing firm Douglas Elliman Real Estate both entered D-FW in 2021.

“We’re thrilled to expand our presence in Texas with the launch of our new franchise in Dallas,” said Mauricio Umansky, CEO and founder of The Agency. “Damon and Megan Williamson are two of the most celebrated real estate authorities in their region and we are confident that they will be incredible stewards of our brand and culture.”

Umansky also stars in Buying Beverly Hills, a new Netflix show highlighting luxury real estate in Los Angeles. The Agency has also been featured on Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

The brokerage ranked No. 21 on the RealTrends list of the top 500 real estate brokerages in the US by volume, with $9.3 billion in sales in 2021. The company has closed more than $45 billion in real estate transactions since 2011.
