SOCIETY TO MEET: The Trumbull County Genealogical Society will meet at 10:15 am today at The Warren SCOPE Center. The program will be “All About Transcriptions” presented by Sarah Moell, curator of collections and research at the Trumbull County Historical Society. Meetings are free and open to the public.
HERITAGE CENTER TO MEET: The Warren Heritage Center will hold its annual meeting at 6 pm today at The Kinsman House. The center board and members had rooms restored in the house, new exhibits developed, new donations accepted, and new lecture series and new programs launched. The center is open the first Sunday of every month.
COVID CLINIC: The Warren City Health Department is holding a walk-in COVID clinic for ages 12 and over, from 9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m., Wednesday and May 18, at the Warren City Health District, 258 E. Market St. No appointment needed.
TRAVEL CLUB WITH SPRING FLINGS: The Trumbull County Travel Club has two “Spring Flings” Calendar of Warmer Days for Scheduled.
Back by popular request is The Brown Bag, One-Day Outing into Amish Country. Scheduled to depart Wednesday, there are six stops with lunch included at The Amish Door Restaurant.
Members will embark on Lancaster, Pa., On June 28, 29 and 30. Stops include The Sight and Sound Theater of the Story of David, a Murder Mystery / Dinner at Mount Hope, Kitchen Kettle Village of course and Amtrak’s Train ride from Lancaster to Latrobe, Pa.;
