Imam-ul-Haq dubs him as Australia’s home series for the ‘huge learning curve’
Pakistan opening batsman Imam-ul-Haq opens up about his experience playing against Australia and termed it as a ‘huge learning curve.’
While speaking in a video posted by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on their YouTube channel, Imam admitted that Australians gave Pakistan a tough time.
“The Australians gave us a tough time in Test cricket and played great cricket and as a cricketer, I learned a lot about being subjected to relentless pressure,” he said.
Imam enjoyed a good run against the Australian side as he finished the series with two Tests in 370 runs, including the 4th highest run-scorer in the series.
The left-hander added that Australia’s tour is beneficial for Pakistan as it will help other top nations to visit Pakistan.
“When more and more topsides will visit Pakistan, it will be an opportunity for individuals as well as a team to enhance their skill set.
During the ODI series, Imam continued his spectacular form as he scored 101,106 and 89 * in all three ODIs.
Speaking about his consistency, Imam said that domestic cricket also helped me tremendously.
“I have been working really hard on my game in the Nets and in domestic cricket and reaping the results,” he concluded.
