The tourism website Visit Iceland is offering a promotion just in time for the fall travel season. As part of a campaign called “OutHorse Your Email,” a number of Icelandic horses will help people “disconnect from work and let the horses of Iceland reply to your emails while [they] are on vacation,” according to the website.

Vacationers can choose from one of three horses to craft their out-of-office messages. This includes horses named Litla Stjarna Frá Hvítarholti, Hrímnir Frá Hvammi and Hekla Frá ÞOrkellshóli, with each horse coming with its own composition style to consider. For example, one of the horses “types fast, but might take a nap,” the site states, while another is “friendly” and “trained in corporate buzzwords.” The last horse is described as “assertive” and “efficient” with “shiny hair” to boot.

A pair of videos on the site shows how the process works. In the clips, the horses are shown walking along the enlarged “horse keyboard” with each shot featuring a healthy dose of Icelandic scenery such as block rock beaches, waterfalls, streams, snow-capped expanses, mountains and more.

It’s important to note that the draft emails shown resulting from the horses’ typing skills did not produce any comprehensible language at first glance. For example, a portion of one of the typed email replies show states, “wFwhxsqjnzgmsrqaaaaa.” Another example reply states, “”’bdqtde.”

People interested in “outhorsing” their emails can peruse the Visit Iceland page for more information.
