Dr. Dorothy Neddermeyer, an internationally recognized authority on bridging Science, Spirit, and Human Potential, has long advocated the need to understand the significant role that spiritual self-care plays in upholding mental health. Her almost three decades of experience as a transformation facilitator, speaker, and educator in natural health and wellness; and her personal and professional development have helped her create a better understanding of spiritual self-care.
“Cultivating a healthy spiritual life can reap many benefits–not only does it help quiet the mind, but it also heals the chaos within, which results in the creation of a space needed to honor what your heart longs for, while also developing the courage to take action for good change,” she stated.
For as long as she can remember, Dr. Dorothy knew that she was different–heeding a calling that kept reminding her of the vital role she would play in assisting people with their healing process.
Dr. Dorothy narrates, “I remember when I was seven years old, this voice told me that I had an important role to play. That resounding call came back to me when I was around 18 years old–it took me a while, but I managed to figure it out. I listened to that voice in my heart telling me to put my trust in spirituality and place less trust in science.”
The good doctor explains that she does not come from a traditional background in medicine. Yet, through this belief, she created a career in healing and helping people–choosing to look to God for the answers. “During the early stages of my career, I had discovered the universal truth that the medical profession was not for wellness but rather profit. This sad truth helped me seek God’s power and how we can bridge the gap between science, spirit, and human potential .”
She further explains that her form of healing includes how a person can successfully connect themselves to the source–the divine being that we all refer to as ‘God’ but in different forms according to one’s belief. According to Dr. Dorothy, connecting to the source will help you get the answers to the questions you have been longing for.
“My mission is to help clients get in touch with their inner source. The framework may be the same, but the process becomes different for each individual. I have been doing this for over thirty years, and it is a win-win situation for both the client and me, with both of us gaining from the experience,” she shares.
Dr. Dorothy also points out that her approach to healing is motivated primarily by the need to address the cause of one’s symptoms. “It is never the symptoms that are the problems, but the cause of the symptoms that need to be addressed. Therefore, the healing process I facilitate is directed towards them becoming pain-free, and ultimately leading a life without unnecessary medication.”
