Your favorite color, job and hairstyle all say a lot about your Personality type.
They can reveal subtle hints about whether you’re optimistic, hard-working or laid-back.
And now a body language expert has said that how you hold your phone can further reveal more about who you are as a person.
Hillie Marshall examined different phone grips and what they represent, according to an article by the Daily Mail.
She found those who were in a hurry held their phone with one hand, while those who were “attention seekers” chose to go horizontal with their devices.
Ms Marshall believed holding your phone with both hands and texting with dual thumbs meant you were more likely to be assertive and had no time to waste.
People who use that grip are likely to work in fast-paced environments and can process many thoughts at once.
They are also a lot of energy.
Then there’s the two-handed phone grip where people navigate the screen with a single thumb.
That apparently shows that someone is disciplined, cautious and methodical.
People with that grip have good attention to detail.
And those who hold their phone with one hand – using the same thumb to Manoeuvre are confident, easy-going and light-hearted.
They are risk-takers and are fun to be around.
People who hold their phones horizontally are apparently more likely to be attention-seekers and have a lot of self-importance.
Then there’s the highly creative types who are more likely to hold their phones with one hand and use their index finger to scroll.
It’s often used by the older generations who may be suffering a little bit of arthritis in their thumb.
Ms Marshall said people who use that grip are smart, intuitive and have gained wisdom through maturity.
They also generally have thick skin but are not pushovers.
