September 23, 2022 – TheNewswire – Ballard Power (BLDP) Systems has signed a letter of intent with Siemens Mobility to supply fuel cell modules that will power commuter rail passenger trains across Europe.
The new deal calls for Ballard to initially deliver 14 fuel cell modules in 2023 as well as an additional 200 fuel cells over the next six years. The modules will be used to power Siemens’ Mireo Plus H passenger trains.
